How long does it take for my recipients to receive their form copies?
This can vary around major IRS deadlines. It generally takes 1-2 Days for the recipients to receive their form copies. Please note that as long as the copies are postmarked by the IRS deadline, the IRS will consider these copies to be furnished on time.
Can I select postal mailing only for certain recipients in an order?
Yes. You have the option to add postal mailing services for each recipient individually. You will only pay for the services that you select for the recipients you select.
How to enable postal mailing and online access from the dashboard?
You can opt into Postal Mailing services at different stages of the filing:
- While preparing tax forms.
- After transmitting the forms.
When preparing tax forms
During the tax preparation flow, opt for the Postal Mailing service on the Review & Select Services page. Check the Enable box under the Postal Mailing column for the required recipients.
After transmitting forms
- Click "Distribution Center" from the dashboard.
- Use filters to select the Tax year, Form type, Business Name, and form distribution status. Once selected, click "Go".
- Select the employees for whom you want to enable Postal Mail and click "Create Postal Order".
