FAQs on ACA Forms

Do I have to pay any penalty if I fail to e-file Form 1095-B before the deadline?

Yes! You need to pay penalties if you don’t e-file Form 1095-B. A filer will need to pay a penalty of $260 for each form Form 1095-B which is not filed. However, the total penalty mustn’t exceed the $3,193,000 for each calendar year. Of course there are waivers available if you fail to report before the due date because of reasonable causes.
